Scott Nicholson

Scott Nicholson (born 1963) is an American author known for his work in the horror and thriller genres, often set in rural Appalachia. His debut novel, The Red Church, was a finalist for the Bram Stoker Award. Nicholson's writing combines the macabre with science fiction and fantasy elements, creating stories that range from biting satire to sentimentalism. His anthology Thank you for the Flowers features 13 short stories that showcase his skill in merging genres. Nicholson has also contributed to zombie anthologies edited by James Lowder. His fifth thriller, The Farm, draws inspiration from his experiences in North Carolina, exploring Appalachian religions and the influence of goats.
