Scott Bradley Owen is an Australian musician born on February 14, 1975. He is best known as a member of the punk rock/psychobilly band, The Living End. Owen initially played the piano but later taught himself the double bass at the age of seventeen to join the rockabilly band with his friend and bandmate, Chris Cheney. During their live performances, Owen is renowned for his bass stunts, including standing on the bass and tilting it at an angle. He has also contributed to The Living End's songwriting, co-writing tracks such as 'So Lonely' and 'Black Cat' with Cheney and 'Short Notice' and 'E-Boogie' with Cheney and Andy Strachan.
