Scott Silver Biography
Scott Silver (born November 30, 1964) is an American screenwriter and film director. He is best known for his work on films such as Johns, The Mod Squad, 8 Mile, The Fighter, and Joker, for which he received Academy Award nominations. Silver, of Jewish descent, has also served as a co-writer for the upcoming Spawn reboot. In addition to his writing and directing roles, he has worked as a producer on the film Stronger, and has been credited as a co-executive producer on The House of Yes. He has received special thanks for his contributions to films such as Requiem for a Dream, Then She Found Me, Bleed for This, and Siberia.
