Scott Williamson Biography
Scott Ryan Williamson is an American former professional baseball player who was born on February 17, 1976. He played as a right-handed relief pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds (1999–2003), Boston Red Sox (2003-2004), Chicago Cubs (2005–2006), San Diego Padres (2006), and Baltimore Orioles (2007). Williamson attended Friendswood High School in Friendswood, Texas where he excelled as a pitcher and was named district MVP. He then played college baseball at Tulane University and later transferred to Oklahoma State University. In the 1996 MLB draft, he was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 9th round. Throughout his career, Williamson achieved various accomplishments and honors.
