Sean Brock is an American chef known for his specialization in Southern cuisine. Born and raised in Pound, Virginia, Brock's passion for cooking began at a young age. After graduating from culinary school in 2000, he went on to become the executive chef at Husk in Charleston, South Carolina, where he has been since its opening in 2010. Brock is also a partner at McCrady's Restaurant. His menus at Husk prioritize the use of authentic Southern ingredients, including those sourced from his own garden. Brock is dedicated to preserving Southern foodways and collaborates with experts in the field. He has expanded his influence with the opening of additional Husk locations and the establishment of Minero in Atlanta, Georgia.
