Sean Graham Biography
Sean Graham (born March 6, 1980) is a retired track runner who specialized in middle-distance and long-distance disciplines. He attended Stillwater Area High School, where he had no prior cross country or track experience, but became part of a talented generation of runners. Under the guidance of coach Scott Christensen, Stillwater High achieved national recognition for its track history. Graham went on to run for William & Mary before becoming a full-time professional for Nike's Farm Team and later joining the Oregon Track Club. He qualified for two US Olympic Trials in 2004 and 2008, finishing 11th in the 5000 meters in 2004. Unfortunately, an injury prevented him from participating in the 2008 trial and pursuing a spot in the US Olympic team for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
