    Sean Phillips (born 27 January 1965) is a British comic book artist known for his collaborations with Ed Brubaker on comics such as Sleeper, Incognito, and the Criminal series. He has also worked on DC Comics' series WildC.A.T.s and Hellblazer. Phillips grew up in the U.K. with a fascination for American comics, particularly those published by Marvel Comics. His influences include Jim Baikie, Simon Bisley, Jamie Hewlett, and others. Starting his career in 1980, Phillips worked on British girls' comics such as Bunty and Judy. He later joined the British Invasion, working on Hellblazer and other titles before returning to the UK.
