    T. Sean Shannon is a writer, actor, and director from Houston, Texas. He is known for his work as a writer on Saturday Night Live, where he won an Emmy Award in 2002 and a WGA Award in 2001. Shannon is also the creator of the sketch Bear City, which revolves around a city inhabited by anthropomorphic bears. In 2008, he revealed that he had written a Bear City movie. Additionally, Shannon directed and co-wrote the feature film Harold, released in July 2008. He is the brother of Charles Shannon, a stand-up comedian and writer. Shannon has been part of some controversies and political unrest during his time at SNL, including a joke he told in The Aristocrats.
