Selma van de Perre
Selma van de Perre-Velleman (born 7 June 1922) is a Dutch-British resistance fighter. During the Second World War, she worked as a courier for the Dutch resistance. Born to Jewish parents, Selma's family was liberal and not practicing Jews. She helped her mother and sister go into hiding in Eindhoven after her father was arrested in 1942 and taken to Camp Westerbork. Following the arrest of her mother and sister in 1943, Selma became a member of the TD Group, a Dutch resistance organization. Selma's bravery and resilience during the war played a crucial role in the fight against the German occupation.
