Shevon Nieto Biography
Shevon Nieto (née Stoddart; born 21 November 1982) is a former Jamaican hurdler. She competed in various international competitions, including the 2004 Olympic Games, the 2005 World Championships, and the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She won a bronze medal at the 2005 Central American and Caribbean Championships and a silver medal in the 4x400 meters relay at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games. She made her second Olympic appearance in 2008 in Beijing, China, representing Jamaica in the 400-meter hurdles. Her personal best time is 54.47 seconds, achieved in June 2005. Outside of athletics, Shevon is a singer and participant in the Art of the Olympians. She is married to Olympic high jumper Jamie Nieto.
