Simon Andrew Burnett (born April 14, 1983) is an English former competition swimmer. He represented Great Britain in the Olympics and European championships, as well as England in the Commonwealth Games. Burnett held the British Records in the 100 and 200-metre freestyles. He attended and competed for the University of Arizona from 2001-2006. In 2007, he signed a sponsorship deal with Nike. Burnett was born in Oxford and grew up in the villages of Chinnor and Tetsworth. He attended Lord Williams's School in Thame and later John Hampden Grammar School in High Wycombe, where he studied chemistry, biology, and physics at A-level.
