Simon Kim

Simon Kim is a Korean-American restaurateur known for owning and operating COTE Korean Steakhouse, with locations in New York and Miami. His innovative 'Korean Steakhouse' concept combines Korean barbecue with an American steakhouse experience. COTE New York has been awarded a Michelin star every year since its opening in 2017. Kim's passion for gastronomy was inspired by his father, who exposed him to high-end restaurants from a young age. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Kim has a brother and a sister. In 2019, he was recognized as a '40 Under 40' business leader by Crain’s New York. Kim was also elected to serve on the board of the National Restaurant Association, representing the industry with over 1 million outlets and 15.6 million employees.
