    Sofia Gonzalez (born 27 March 2001) is a Swiss Paralympic athlete of Spanish and Mexican descent. Known for her accomplishments in sprinting and long jump, Gonzalez has represented Switzerland in international track and field competitions. She earned a European bronze medal in the 100m event. Gonzalez, who was born in London, had her right leg amputated below the knee at the age of three due to a congenital deformity. Despite her amputation, she remained active and participated in various sports such as horse riding, tennis, and skiing. In 2016, Gonzalez turned professional and trained with Heinrich Popow, an influential figure in her life. Currently, she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in sociology at City, University of London, and is also known as a motivational speaker in Switzerland. Gonzalez is fluent in four languages.
