Sol Miranda

Sol Miranda is a Puerto Rican actress known for her role as 'mole woman' Donna Maria Nuñez on the TV show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2019). Born in Puerto Rico, Miranda graduated with a BA in drama from the University of Puerto Rico and an MFA in acting from the University of California, San Diego. She later relocated to Brooklyn, where she worked in English-language Latino theater productions and briefly with the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater. Miranda is an adjunct assistant professor at Hostos Community College and the founder of Embark Peekskill, a nonprofit that supports the arts in Peekskill, New York. Aside from her acting career, Miranda is dedicated to teaching and promoting the arts.
