Stan Adams
Stan Adams, born Stanley Earl Adams on May 22, 1960, is a former American football linebacker. He grew up in Jericho, Arkansas, and attended Marion High School in Marion, Arkansas. Adams played college football for the Memphis Tigers, starting as an end and later transitioning to linebacker during his senior year. After going undrafted in the 1982 NFL draft, he joined the Los Angeles Raiders as a free agent. Adams spent his first two seasons on the injury reserve list due to a bruised chest and torn knee cartilage. In 1983, he received a championship ring after the Raiders won Super Bowl XVIII against the Washington Redskins. Adams made his professional debut during the 1984 season, appearing in four games with three starts.
