Stanley Morgan

Stanley Douglas Morgan (born February 17, 1955) is a retired American football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. Known for his deep threat ability, Morgan holds the NFL record for yards per catch (19.2) among receivers with at least 500 catches. He also holds the Patriots team record for career receiving yards. Morgan was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro. In 2007, he was inducted into the New England Patriots team Hall of Fame. He was named to the New England Patriots 1970’s & 1980’s All-Decade Teams. In 2021, Morgan was honored with induction into the PFRA Hall of Very Good.
