Stefano Gabbana

Stefano Gabbana (born 14 November 1962) is a fashion designer and the co-founder of the Dolce & Gabbana luxury fashion house. He was born in Milan to a father who worked in a printing factory and a mother who worked for a laundry service. Gabbana graduated from the Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche in Rome. In 1980, he met Domenico Dolce, and two years later, they launched Dolce & Gabbana S.p.A. Gabbana's brand made its fashion show debut in October 1985. Gabbana attributes his early influence to designer Giorgio Correggiari, who taught him what 'not' to do in the industry.
