Stephanie D'Abruzzo

Stephanie D'Abruzzo is an American actress, puppeteer, and singer, best known for her work on Sesame Street. Born on December 7, 1971, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she grew up in the suburb of McMurray. D'Abruzzo attended Peters Township High School and later graduated from Northwestern University's Radio/Television/Film program in 1993. Her passion for Sesame Street started during her time at the university, where she often watched and studied the show. D'Abruzzo has performed various Muppets on Sesame Street and held starring roles on TV shows like Oobi and The Book of Pooh. Additionally, she was part of the original cast of the stage musical Avenue Q, receiving a Best Actress nomination in 2004.
