    Stephanie Grisham, born Stephanie Ann Sommerville, is an American former White House official who served as the 32nd White House press secretary and White House communications director from July 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, she was the chief of staff and press secretary for First Lady Melania Trump from 2020 to 2021, after serving as her press secretary from 2017 to 2019. Grisham started her career as a press aide for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and later became a member of the presidential transition team. As White House Press Secretary, she gained attention for conducting interviews on conservative news outlets without holding press conferences. Grisham left her position following the 2021 storming of the United States Capital and published a book about her time working in the Trump administration, titled 'I'll Take Your Questions Now' in September 2021.
