Stephen Ashfield Biography
Stephen Ashfield is an Olivier Award-winning Scottish actor known for his successful stage career. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Ashfield made his West End debut as Boy George in Taboo and later played Basilio in the critically acclaimed adaptation of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro. He reprised the role of Boy George in the first national tour of Taboo and has appeared in other productions such as When Harry Met Barry and Fame. Ashfield has received recognition for his talent, including being made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music and receiving a Fellowship in the 2018 honours list.
