Stephen Hsu (born 1966) is an American physicist, tech executive, and university administrator. He was born and raised in Ames, Iowa, and his father was a professor of aerospace engineering at Iowa State University. Hsu received a B.S. from the California Institute of Technology in 1986 and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991. He has worked as a Harvard Junior Fellow and a Superconducting Super Collider Fellow. In addition to his scientific work, Hsu has also held executive positions in the technology industry.
