Stephen Lea Sheppard (born January 26, 1983) is a Canadian writer and former television and film actor. He is best known for his role as Dudley Heinsbergen in the 2001 Wes Anderson film The Royal Tenenbaums and as geek guru Harris Trinsky on the NBC dramedy Freaks and Geeks. Sheppard was born in Gibsons, British Columbia and currently resides in Surrey, British Columbia. Outside of his acting career, he has co-authored several modules for the role-playing game Exalted, starting in 2007. With his performances in The Royal Tenenbaums and Freaks and Geeks, Sheppard has established himself as a notable figure in the entertainment industry.
