Steve Chang Biography
Steve Chang is a Taiwanese businessperson and co-founder of Trend Micro, the world's largest software security firm. Born in Pingtung, Taiwan, he graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 1977. He then pursued further studies in the United States, earning a master's degree in computer science from Lehigh University in 1979. Chang worked for Hewlett-Packard and subsequently founded Trend Micro in 1988 with his wife Jenny Chen and her sister Eva Chen. He served as the CEO of Trend Micro until his retirement. Chang's achievements include being named 'Star of Asia' by Business Week in 1999 and being featured in Discovery Channel's 'Portraits Taiwan II' in 2006.
