Steve Day Biography
Steve Day is a British deaf stand-up comedian. He gained recognition as a finalist in the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award in 2000 and the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year in 2002. Day has performed several one-man shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including 'Deaf in the Afternoon' in 2002 and 'Run, deaf Boy, Run' in 2011. He has also been part of the comedy group 'Abnormally Funny People' and has made appearances on and written for various BBC Radio 4 shows. Day currently resides in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, with his wife, former Olympic athlete Georgina Oladapo Day, and their five children.
