Steve Howard

Steve Howard, born Steven John Howard on May 10, 1976, is a former professional footballer known for his role as a striker. He gained recognition as a typical target man with exceptional aerial strength. Howard began his career at non-league Tow Law Town while working as a roofer. In 1995, he joined Hartlepool United and later became the record signing for Northampton Town in 1999. Luton Town signed him in 2001, but faced the possibility of being sacked after an incident during a game against York City. Despite this, Howard continued his successful career as a footballer.
