Steve Johnston
Steve Johnston, born on October 12, 1971, is a former international motorcycle speedway rider from Australia. He began his career in 1992, signing with the Sheffield Tigers for the British League Division Two season. In 1993, Johnston joined the Long Eaton Invaders and started to achieve notable performances, including winning the Western Australian Individual Speedway Championship in 1993 and 1996. He later signed with the Ipswich Witches for the 1997 Elite League speedway season and then moved to the Oxford Cheetahs for the 1998 season, where he spent five consecutive seasons and contributed to their victory in the 2001 Elite League speedway season. Johnston also won a third Western Australian Individual Speedway Championship and represented Australia.
