    Steve O'Connor is a former Australian soccer player who had a successful career in the Australian National Soccer League (NSL). He played a total of 290 games in the NSL and also represented Australia in the national team with 44 Socceroo appearances. O'Connor began his soccer journey at a young age, joining Revesby Rovers and later playing representative soccer for Bankstown. He made his 1st grade appearance for Hakoah Club at the age of 17 and played with the club for 15 years, winning four national titles. After Sydney City folded in 1987, O'Connor was signed by St George. Throughout his career, O'Connor showcased his skills and dedication to the sport.
