Steve Skrovan Biography
Steve Skrovan is an American producer, writer, director, and television host. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Skrovan attended Gilmour Academy before earning a B.A. in English from Yale in 1979. Starting his career as a stand-up comedian, he hosted MTV's talk show Mouth to Mouth in 1988 and later became the original host of Totally Hidden Video on FOX from 1989 to 1992. Skrovan also hosted the game show That's My Dog on The Family Channel from 1991 to 1992. He is best known for co-writing the 1993 Seinfeld episode 'The Movie' and for his work as a writer on the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond throughout its nine-year run. Skrovan has also produced the 2005 TV special Earth to America and directed the 2006 documentary An Unreasonable Man about Ralph Nader.
