Steve Speirs Biography
Steve Speirs (born Steven Roberts; 22 February 1965) is a Welsh actor and writer known for his appearances in various films and TV shows. Born in Troed-y-rhiw, a village in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, Speirs developed a passion for drama while attending Afon Taf High School. He joined the National Youth Theatre of Wales and later studied drama at Loughborough University. Speirs adopted his stage name from the surname of a college lecturer. He has portrayed memorable characters such as Captain Tarpals in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and had a small role in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Speirs has also appeared in other projects like Eragon, Making Waves, Extras, and Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire.
