Steven Rinella (born February 13, 1974) is an American outdoorsman, conservationist, writer, and television personality. He is known for translating the hunting and fishing lifestyle to a wide variety of audiences. Rinella was born in Twin Lake, Michigan and grew up along with his two older brothers, learning to hunt and fish at an early age. He is the host of the popular hunting show MeatEater, which originally aired on Sportsman Channel and later moved to Netflix. Rinella has also hosted The Wild Within, an 8-episode series on the Travel Channel. His hunting and fishing adventures have taken him to various locations including Montana, Alaska, Mexico, New Zealand, Arizona, and Wisconsin.
