Stuart Feldman is a computer scientist, best known as the creator of the computer software program make. He was also involved in the development of the Unix operating system and was one of the authors of the first Fortran 77 compiler. Feldman has made significant contributions to the field of programming languages, participating in the development of the ALTRAN and EFL languages. Currently, he serves as the chief scientist at Schmidt Futures and has held prominent positions at Google and IBM Research.
