Stuart Thompson

Stuart Robert Thompson is an Irish cricketer born on August 15, 1991. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Thompson had the honor of being one of the eleven cricketers to play in Ireland's first ever Test match against Pakistan in May 2018. He received a central contract from Cricket Ireland for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Thompson has also represented Ireland at the U-19 level, playing five Youth One Day Internationals. In 2012, he made his first-class debut in a match against Afghanistan and was included in Ireland's squad for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 tournament in Sri Lanka. In May 2018, he scored his maiden century in first-class cricket while playing for Northern Knights.
