Stuart Williamson
Stuart Williamson (born 1948) is an English sculptor, teacher of sculpture, and poet from North East England. He is a Fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors, a Member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors (UK), and a Founding Member of the Portrait Sculptures Society of America. Williamson served as a senior sculptor for Madam Tussauds at their London studio, conducting sittings for sculpture with notable contemporary figures such as Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Jiang Zemin, Sting, Eric Clapton, Bette Midler, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine. His work extends beyond portraits, having sculpted numerous historical figures. He has been featured in exhibitions, including the Salmagundi Club's American Masters show in 2015.
