    Sue Nelson (born June 5, 1961) is a science writer and broadcaster, known for her work as a former BBC science correspondent. She studied physics at University College Cardiff and later earned a Knight-Wallace Fellowship at the University of Michigan in 2004. Nelson has an extensive career in broadcasting, including being the presenter of Formula Five on BBC Radio 5 from 1990 to 1994, and presenting science and technology programs for BBC News 24 and BBC Television News from 1997 to 2005. She has also presented various science series on BBC Radio 4, produced films for the European Space Agency, and currently hosts the podcast Space Boffins through her media company, Boffin Med.
