Sue Turton Biography
Sue Turton (born c.1966) is a British television journalist. She began her national television career as a reporter at Sky News and went on to work for LWT, MTV, and GMTV. Turton joined Channel 4 News in 1998, working as both a presenter and correspondent for 12 years. During her time at Channel 4, she won RTS Awards and covered various topics including sports news, breaking stories, investigations, and foreign affairs. After leaving Channel 4, Turton became Al Jazeera's first Afghanistan correspondent and later reported on the Arab Spring in the Middle East, covering uprisings in Libya, Syria, and Egypt. She has also reported extensively in Iraq and Lebanon for the channel.
