Sukanya 'Suki' Krishnan

Sukanya Krishnan is an American news anchor from New York City. Born in Madras, India (now Chennai), she grew up on Staten Island and attended New Dorp High School. Krishnan graduated from Dickinson College in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. She began her career in broadcasting at WLIG-TV in 1994 before working at WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania as a morning/noon anchor and reporter. Krishnan then joined WCBS-TV in New York as a general assignment reporter before moving to WUTR-TV in Utica, New York as an anchor, reporter, and producer. She is best known for her work with WPIX from 2001 to 2003 and from 2005 to 2017.
