Sydney Lassick Biography
Sydney Lassick (July 23, 1922 – April 12, 2003) was an American character actor known for his roles in film and television. He is best remembered for his portrayal of Charlie Cheswick in the Academy Award-winning film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Lassick, born in Chicago to Russian Jewish immigrants, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II before studying drama at DePaul University. His career began in the late 1950s and he went on to appear in notable films such as Sinderella and the Golden Bra, Carrie, The Unseen, and Sonny Boy. Lassick's versatile performances made him a recognizable figure in the entertainment industry.
