Tara Grammy

Tara Grammy is an Iranian-Canadian actress and playwright. Born in Tehran, Iran, she grew up in Toronto, Canada. Grammy co-wrote the play Mahmoud, which was a finalist for the Governor General's Award for English-language drama in 2015. In the 2020 romantic comedy A Simple Wedding, she portrayed the character Nousha, alongside renowned actresses Shohreh Aghdashloo and Rita Wilson. Grammy gained popularity through her comedic sketch The Persian Bachelorette, which garnered over 150,000 views on YouTube within days of its release. She has also served as a host on the first season of Persia's Got Talent, a Persian adaptation of the British talent show Got Talent, produced in Sweden.
