    Tara Lynne Barr is an American actress born on October 2, 1993, in Orange County, California. She gained recognition for her role as Roxy in the dark comedy film God Bless America (2011), which earned her a Young Artist Award nomination. Barr is also known for portraying Laura Meyers in the Hulu comedy-drama series Casual. Raised in Fountain Valley, California, she and her older sister were enrolled in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley's before- and after-school care program. Inspired by her sister's performances in the Clubhouse Theater program, Barr pursued acting at the age of seven. She graduated from Fountain Valley High School in 2011 and was accepted into Chapman University's College of Performing Arts on the Dean's Scholarship.
