Tasha Cobbs

Tasha Cobbs Leonard is an American gospel musician and songwriter. Born on July 7, 1981, in Jesup, Georgia, she began her career by leading worship at Jesup New Life Ministries. In 2013, she released the extended play 'Grace', which featured the hit single 'Break Every Chain'. The EP reached No. 61 on the Billboard charts. Cobbs Leonard has achieved numerous accolades throughout her career, including winning a Grammy Award for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. She has also received 15 Stellar Awards, 3 Billboard Music Awards, and 9 Dove Awards. In 2017, she married music producer Kenneth Leonard, and in July 2021, they adopted a son named Asher.
