Terence Rigby Biography
Terence Christopher Gerald Rigby (2 January 1937 – 10 August 2008) was an English actor known for his film and television roles. Born in Erdington, Birmingham, Rigby received his education at St Philip's School and trained at RADA. He served in the Royal Air Force during his national service. Rigby appeared in several notable films, including 'Get Carter' (1971), 'Watership Down' (1978), 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), 'Elizabeth' (1998), 'Mona Lisa Smile' (2003), and 'Colour Me Kubrick' (2006). On television, he was well-known for his roles in 'Softly, Softly: Task Force,' 'Dixon of Dock Green,' 'Z-Cars,' 'Callan,' 'Rumpole of the Bailey,' and many others.
