Terry Sweeney

Terry Sweeney is an American artist, actor, and writer. He was born in Queens, New York, and raised in Massapequa Park, New York. Sweeney began his career as a regular cast member of Saturday Night Live (SNL) during the 1985-1986 season. He co-wrote the 1989 film Shag and has written for television series such as MADtv, Hype, and Tripping the Rift. Sweeney's interest in the performing arts started at a young age, and he became a star of his high school talent show. He graduated from Farmingdale High School in 1969 and attended Middlebury College, where he studied Spanish and Italian, graduating in 1973 with a bachelor's degree in arts.
