Theo Croker is an American jazz trumpeter, composer, producer, and vocalist. Born on July 18, 1985, in Leesburg, Florida, Croker comes from a musical family. He is the grandson of Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Doc Cheatham. Croker started playing the trumpet at the age of 11 and honed his skills at the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville. Over the years, he has released seven studio albums, including 'Afro Physicist' (2014) and 'Star People Nation' (2019). Croker has also collaborated with notable artists such as J. Cole, Common, and Ari Lennox. His talent has earned him a Grammy Award nomination, three Echo Award nominations, and recognition as a Theodore Presser Award recipient.
