Thomas Antony Olajide, also known as Thomas Olajide, is a Canadian actor hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. He gained recognition for his outstanding performance in the 2021 film Learn to Swim, earning him a nomination for Best Actor at the 10th Canadian Screen Awards in 2022. Alongside Tawiah M'carthy and Stephen Jackman-Torkoff, Olajide co-created Black Boys, a groundbreaking theatrical production exploring Black Canadian LGBTQ+ identities, which was staged by Buddies in Bad Times in 2016. For their exceptional ensemble performance, they were collectively nominated for Outstanding Ensemble Performance at the Dora Mavor Moore Awards in 2017. Olajide has also showcased his talents in various stage productions, including William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Love's Labour's Lost, as well as Lynn Nottage's Ruined and Michel Nadeau's And Slowly Beauty.
