Tim Benton
Tim Benton (born 21 June 1945) is a British writer, broadcaster, and Professor Emeritus in the History of Art at the Open University. He is known for his extensive research and writings on the modernist architect Le Corbusier. Benton has taught at renowned institutions such as Columbia University, Williams College, and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. He holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and the Courtauld Institute of Art. Benton is a member of the Association for the preservation of 'E-1027,' a site in France that includes Le Corbusier's holiday home and the Etoile de Mer restaurant. His works include the acclaimed book 'Le Corbusier conférencier,' which won the 2008 Prix National.
