Tim Colceri Biography
Tim Colceri (born June 15, 1951) is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his role in the 1987 Stanley Kubrick film Full Metal Jacket, where he portrayed the door gunner. Colceri gained recognition for delivering the iconic lines 'Get some!' and 'Ain't war hell?' in the movie. Originally cast as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, he was replaced by R. Lee Ermey. Born in Canton, Ohio, on June 15, 1951, Colceri's family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, when he was two years old. After serving in the United States Marine Corps for 13 months in Vietnam, he attended Arizona State University and pursued a career in physical education before transitioning into acting.
