Timothy L. Connolly, born on May 7, 1981, is an American former professional ice hockey player. He played eleven seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, and Toronto Maple Leafs. Connolly started his career playing for the Erie Otters in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for two seasons before being drafted fifth overall by the New York Islanders in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Throughout his career, Connolly battled injuries, with post-concussion syndrome causing him to miss the entire 2003–04 season. He retired from professional hockey after the 2012-2013 season. Connolly's notable teams include the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
