Tim McCray Biography
Tim McCray (born August 20, 1960) is a former Canadian Football League (CFL) running back. He played for the Ottawa Rough Riders from 1984 to 1985 and the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 1986 to 1990. In 1989, McCray was named an All-Star and helped lead the Roughriders to win the 77th Grey Cup. He had a standout season, setting career highs in all offensive categories and leading the CFL in all-purpose yardage with 2,684 yards. McCray rushed for 1,285 yards and had 75 receptions for 749 yards. He also excelled in kick-off returns, gaining 650 yards on 29 returns. McCray was widely recognized by fans and won the 1989 Saskatchewan Roughriders Molson Cup for being the Most Popular Player.
