Tim Powell Biography
Tim Powell (born 14 April 1968) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Richmond and Carlton in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from Berrigan, Powell played as a forward and on the half back flanks during his time at Richmond. In 1989, he kicked 17 goals and had two 'Best on ground' performances early the following season, which were later acknowledged in the Brownlow Medal count. Ahead of the 1993 season, Powell was traded to Carlton for pick 28 in the draft. He played on the half forward flank in Carlton's 1993 Grand Final loss to Essendon.
