Tim Ware (born October 26, 1948) is an American composer and musician from Sacramento, California. He gained prominence in 1980 with the release of The Tim Ware Group on Kaleidoscope Records, which helped define the emerging genre of New Acoustic Music. The band featured Tim on mandolin and guitar, along with other talented San Francisco Bay Area musicians. Tim is also the owner of HyperArts, a Web design and development company based in Oakland, California. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various musical projects and has collaborated with notable artists such as David Grisman, Darol Anger, and Mike Marshall. Tim Ware continues to contribute to the music industry and is highly regarded for his compositions and talents.
